In partnership with Sacramento, California churches, get LIFTED (Living in Faith to Elevate Dreams) changes the way we engage the community regarding underage marijuana use, with a YOUTH LED approach to fostering change.

 

get LIFTED REDUCES shame for Black youth so they can TALK about their exposure to marijuana use and SHARE ideas to counter misconceptions and assumptions, PROMOTE healing, and CREATE opportunities for belonging and connection.

 

This work is guided and supported through their FAITH and connection to their spiritual life.

 

Everything from campaign name, to logo, to video content has been developed by youth direction and is inspired by their experiences.

Our goal is to promote and advocate for commuity environments for Sacramento County's Black youth that build resilience, promote safety, and protect against substance use, expressly tapping the historical and cultural role of churches as a system for healing and renewal.
